Mahavir Traders & Stationery Sms has been at Udhna Gol Market for a good bit now. Being at shop 101 makes it easy for folks to find us when they need pens or notebooks. We stock a lot of stuff, maybe too much sometimes because the shelves look crowded and things get tucked behind. School kids come in during the mornings for last-minute pencils or erasers before their classes start. We also have office supplies, like those big folders and staplers that people always seem to lose. It’s a family thing, really. My uncle started it and now I’m here most of the day. The market gets quite loud, especially on weekends when everyone is out. We try to keep everything organized but it’s hard when new stock arrives in big boxes that block the aisles for a while. I spend a lot of time just unpacking paper and notebooks. We don't have a big staff, just us behind the counter. Sometimes we run out of a specific color of pen or a certain size of notebook and people have to wait for the next delivery. It's a simple business. I like talking to the regulars who have been coming here for years. They know where everything is better than I do sometimes. We don't do anything fancy, just sell the basics people need for school or work. Udhna is a busy place and being in the Gol Market keeps us on our feet all day. It's just a regular stationery shop doing its thing.
