We are over at Shop No. 2087 inside The Palladium Mall. It’s near Yogi Chowk on Mahalaxmi Road. The mall is a big place, but we’ve found our spot on the second floor. We spend most of our time looking at the latest styles and deciding what to put on the racks. It isn't a massive store, but we make the most of it. We like seeing people find something they actually like wearing. It’s just a few of us working here. We take turns opening the shutters in the morning and cleaning the glass. The mall gets busy on weekends, so those are our longest days. During the week, it’s a bit quieter, which gives us time to reorganize. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just sell clothes. Some people come in just to look around and that is fine too. We have stools in the back where we sit when there are no customers. We talk about local news and what’s happening on the road outside. The name of the shop sounds big, but we are just regular people trying to make a living. We try to be helpful if someone asks for a different size. Usually, we are just folding things back up after they’ve been tried on. It’s a steady job and we like being in this part of the city.
