Mahalaxmi Diesel Corporation Engineering Works

Our shop, Mahalaxmi Diesel Corporation Engineering Works, is located right in the middle of the GIDC Estate over at Pandesara. We are in the Akarpura Industrial Estate area on Vadsar Road, specifically at 3 B in the Ambica Dham Society. Most days start pretty early here with the sound of engines and the smell of grease. It gets dusty being in an industrial zone but that is just part of the job. We spend most of our time dealing with diesel parts and heavy machinery repairs. There is always someone coming in with a part that needs fixing or asking about a specific engine issue. The floor is usually covered in tools and we try to keep things organized but it gets messy when we are busy. It is not a fancy place by any means. We just have our work benches and the machinery we need to get things done. Being in Pandesara means we see a lot of the same faces from other workshops nearby. Sometimes we sit outside for a quick tea break when the noise gets too much. The traffic on Vadsar Road is usually heavy with trucks moving in and out of the estate all day long. We have been at this spot for a while now and people around here know where to find us when they have trouble with their diesel equipment. It is just honest work that keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down.
