Bhimnath Mechanical Works

You can find us at Plot No 51 in the Sainath Complex, right off LBS Marg on Pandesara Jivdaya Lane. It’s a mouthful of an address, but once you get here, you’ll see Bhimnath Mechanical Works is just a straightforward workshop. There’s usually oil on the floor and the sound of someone grinding metal in the back. We do a lot of mechanical repairs and custom work for the local industries. It’s the kind of place where your hands are going to get dirty within five minutes of starting work. We’ve got a few old lathes and some welding equipment that have been with us since we opened. The complex itself is always noisy with other businesses, so we fit right in. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you’ll probably find us hunched over a piece of iron or trying to fix a gear that’s seen better days. We take our time to make sure the parts fit right because if they don't, the customer just has to come back, and that’s a waste of everyone’s afternoon. It’s hard work, and the heat under the tin roof can be a bit much in the summer, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just focus on the machines and the metal and hope the power stays on.
