Devine Engineering

Devine Engineering is located at 6/1 in Dasswada. It is a quiet little spot compared to the big industrial parks. We have a small workshop here where we take on various engineering projects. It’s mostly just us and our machines. We started out with just one lathe and have slowly added more over the years. The place is a bit cramped because we keep buying more equipment whenever we can afford it. Dasswada is a nice area to work in. It feels more like a community than a business district. We know our neighbors and sometimes we help each other out with tools or advice. Our work is precise, but our shop is a bit of a mess. There are drawings pinned to the walls and metal shavings in every corner. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, one of us wipes our hands on a rag and goes to see who it is. We prefer it that way. It keeps things simple. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Most of our work comes from people in the area who know what we can do. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the parts fit. It’s satisfying to finish a difficult job and see it work. We’re just regular people doing technical work. That’s about all there is to it at our spot in Dasswada.
