Mahadev Travels

Mahadev Travels is tucked away in the Saraswati Shopping Centre, right on Ashwini Kumar Road. We are at shop number 22. If you know where the Ashwini Gaushala is, we are right opposite the Police Chowki there. It’s a pretty busy intersection in Surat, so there’s always a lot of noise and activity around. We have been working from this location for quite a while now. The office is simple, just some desks and chairs for when people come in to chat about their travel plans. We don't really go for anything flashy here. It’s just a place to get work done. Sometimes the electricity acts up in the market, but we manage to keep things moving. We handle a lot of different travel requests every day. Dealing with buses and routes keeps us pretty occupied from Monday to Saturday. Most people who live around Ashwini Kumar Road know us by now. We try to be straightforward with everyone. If a bus is going to be late, we tell them. There’s no point in making things sound better than they are. Our spot in the shopping centre is easy to miss if you aren't looking, but once you find the police chowki, you're basically there. We’ve grown used to the chaos of the street outside. It’s just a normal day for us, sitting here and helping folks figure out their journeys one step at a time. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons.
