Maa Uma Travels

Maa Uma Travels has been sitting right here at Number 212 Vijaynagar Society for a good while now. You can find us on 150 Feet Road, which is pretty close to Archana School in the Udhna part of Surat. Most of the folks around here know where we are. It is just a small setup, nothing too fancy with big glass windows or anything like that. We spend most of our day answering the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street. Living in Surat, you know how travel can get sometimes. We just try to help people figure out their trips without making it a big deal. Whether someone wants to visit family or has some work in another town, they come talk to us. I usually sit at the main desk, and we have a few others who help out with the paperwork. It gets a bit loud outside with all the traffic on the main road, but we manage just fine. We don't have some big corporate office in a mall. It is just this spot in the society where we’ve always been. We know the local routes and which buses are running late. If you are nearby and need to sort out a journey, you can just stop in. We keep things pretty simple here. We don’t use any of those big computer systems that crash all the time. Just a pen, paper, and a basic screen to get you where you need to go.
