M R Tours & Travels

Ring Road is always a mess with traffic, but that’s where Mitro Tower is located. We are in unit U/33. It’s an older building. You have to climb some stairs or wait for the lift which is usually busy. M R Tours & Travels has been here for a good bit of time. The office is tucked away in the corner of the floor. It’s quiet once you get inside, away from the constant horns on the road. We spend the day on the phone or typing out itineraries for people. Sometimes people just walk in because they saw the board downstairs. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby or work in the textile markets around Ring Road. It’s a busy life in Surat. We drink a lot of chai while waiting for things to load on the screen. The walls are a bit plain, and they probably need a new coat of paint soon. We keep all our files in those big plastic folders. It’s organized enough for us to find what we need when a customer asks. We handle buses and cars and whatever else people need for their trips. It’s just a regular travel shop. Nothing more to it. We try to keep things simple. If a bus is going to be late, we tell people. No point in making things up.
