N. K. Fashion

Our shop, N. K. Fashion, is located right on M. G. Road. If you are looking for us, we are very close to the old Alankar Cinema. It’s a great spot because there are always people walking by, especially in the evenings when everyone comes out to shop and eat. The store isn’t very big, so we have to use every bit of wall space to hang up the clothes. It can get a bit cramped when we have more than four or five customers at once, but that just makes it feel lively. We spend a lot of time steaming clothes and fixing the displays. It’s not like a high-end boutique with white carpets. It’s a real shop where you can touch the fabrics and try things on without feeling pressured. We get a lot of regulars who stop by just to see what new styles we’ve put out on the racks. Sometimes the music from the street is louder than our own, but we don't mind. We use a simple manual register and keep our notes in a little diary. The lighting is bright so people can see the colors clearly. We aren't fashion experts or anything; we just know what looks decent and what people in the neighborhood like to wear. It is a simple, honest business and we enjoy being part of the daily buzz on M. G. Road.
