You can find us at shop number 11 in the SMC Shopping Centre on Ring Road. It’s right near Sahara Darwaza, which is one of the busiest parts of Surat. If you’ve ever been to Ring Road, you know how the traffic and the crowds are, especially during the middle of the day. Our shop is one of many in the center, and it’s usually quite a lively place to be. We handle all sorts of travel things like booking tickets and helping people plan out their trips to different parts of the country. It’s a small office, and we have papers and files stacked up on the desks. We don’t really have a lot of space for anything fancy, so we just focus on the work at hand. Most of our customers are people who work in the nearby markets or live around the Ring Road area. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the latest schedules on our computers. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and get back to work once it’s back. It’s a very local feel here. We know the other shopkeepers in the SMC building and often share a tea with them in the afternoons. We aren't trying to be a big global company; we just want to help our neighbors get their travel sorted out without any big headaches.
