Lavya Sarees

We are located at W-3203 in the Surat Textiles Market on Ring Road. It is a huge building, and it can be really easy to get lost in the hallways if you aren’t used to it. Our space is filled with fabric from floor to ceiling. There are sarees everywhere you look. It’s not some fancy boutique with mirrors and soft lighting. It’s a busy market stall where we move a lot of stock for Lavya Sarees. The Ring Road outside is always packed with trucks and rickshaws, so there is a constant hum of engines. Inside the market, it’s the sound of people bargaining and rolls of cloth being moved around. We spend our days folding, packing, and talking to people who come through. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in color, but that’s just the nature of working with sarees in Surat. The air is always a bit dusty from the threads. We’ve got a small fan that tries its best, but it gets pretty warm in the middle of the day. It’s a fast-paced environment and we don’t have much time for fluff. We just focus on the textiles and getting them where they need to go. If you find your way to the W section, you’ll see us there among all the other sellers, just doing our daily routine. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we know best.
