Krishna Art Silk Cloths Pvt Ltd is based over at 261/172 A on Pandesara Pk Road. We are actually in the Mulund West area if you are looking for us. The space is mostly full of long rolls of silk and other fabrics. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the cloth stacked up high. We deal with art silk, which has a nice feel to it but keeps us very busy. The machines make a steady humming sound all day long. There’s always lint in the air and the floor is usually covered in small thread clippings. We aren't a retail shop where you come to buy a single yard; it’s more of a production and wholesale kind of setup. We have been working out of this Pandesara Pk Road location for years. The street outside can get quite jammed with delivery vans. Inside, we just focus on the fabric. Sometimes the colors of the silk are so bright they really stand out against the grey walls of the building. We have a small group of workers who know the materials well. It’s a lot of lifting and moving heavy rolls from one side to the other. We don't have a fancy sign or a lobby. It’s just a place where we do our work and get the cloth ready for shipping.
