Kotak Life Insurance, The New India Assurance Co. Ltd.

We are located at 6, Shri Ganesh Shiv Krupa Apartment. It is over in the Ichchhanath part of Surat. This office handles both Kotak Life and New India Assurance stuff, so things get a bit confusing with all the different forms lying around. We have folders for health, life, and car insurance piled up on the desks. It is a small place, really. We have got some chairs for people to wait and a water cooler that makes a loud noise every now and then. Being in Gujarat, we get a lot of local folks coming in with questions about their claims. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down notes on scraps of paper. It is not a corporate headquarters, just a local branch where we try to help out. Sometimes we run out of the right forms and have to go get copies made. The apartment building is easy to find if you know the Ichchhanath area. We have been here long enough that most people just call us by name. It is a bit of a squeeze when we have more than three people waiting, but we make it work. We just focus on getting the insurance papers signed and filed properly. It is simple, everyday work for us, and we do not try to make it sound like more than it is. It is just us here.
