We are located in the Kohinoor Textile Market on Ring Road, specifically at C-822-825. G S Fashion is just one of many spots in this big market. If you’ve ever been to Ring Road, you know how chaotic it gets. There’s always someone moving a bale of cloth or a truck trying to squeeze through. Our space is tucked away in the middle of it all. It’s noisy and there’s always something happening right outside the door. Inside, we just focus on the fashion side of things. We have stacks of fabric reaching the ceiling sometimes. It’s a lot of work to keep it all organized. We don't have a fancy front office; we mostly just work among the stock. The air is thick with the smell of new textiles. We’ve been here long enough to know the other shop owners and the tea sellers. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to sell our goods and keep the business running. Some days are better than others, depending on how many people are visiting the market. It’s a tough environment but it’s home for us.
