Kishan Mobile

Kishan Mobile has its home in Katargam. This area has grown so much lately and there is always something new being built down the street. Our shop is just one of many along this stretch, but we have our regular crowd that comes by. We spend a lot of time looking at small screens and trying to figure out why someone’s phone isn't charging right. It’s a lot of sitting behind the counter and waiting for the next person to walk through the door with a cracked screen or a forgotten password. We have a lot of different cases hanging on the walls to try and make the place look a bit more colorful. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so it can get a little warm inside if the fan isn't pointing right at you. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in town, just a place in Katargam where you can get your phone sorted out. There is always some dust from the road that finds its way onto the displays, so we are always cleaning. We keep a diary on the desk to write down what people need us to order for them. It’s pretty straightforward work and we’ve gotten used to the pace of life here. Some days are slow and we just watch the traffic go by, while other days we barely have time to eat our lunch.
