Kirti Umeshkumar Acharya

My place is over at B-15 on the Surat Varachha Road, which is almost always packed with traffic. We’re right across from the Saint School, so in the mornings and afternoons, you see lots of kids and parents running around outside. Hirabaug is a busy area to be in, and there is always something going on just outside the door. I’ve been running things from this spot for a while, and it’s a pretty straightforward setup inside. It’s not a large showroom or anything like that, just a functional space where I can take care of my customers and keep my records straight. The floor is tiled, and I keep a few chairs for people who need to sit while we talk. Sometimes the noise from the road makes it hard to hear, but we manage just fine. I do most of the work myself, though sometimes I have someone helping out with the chores. It can get quite hot in Surat, so the fan is usually going at full speed. I don't use any fancy language or try to act like a big corporation. It’s just me, Kirti, working in the shop and making sure things are handled properly. People in the neighborhood know where to find me if they need something. It’s just a regular business day here at Hirabaug, opening up early and staying until the work is finished.
