Om Sai Lace

Working at Om Sai Lace means we spend our days surrounded by rolls of material. Our unit is tucked away in the Mahatma Industrial Estate. If you know where the Sub Jail is in Khatodara, we are right behind it. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always noise from machines and trucks moving around. We’ve been here for a good bit now. Most days are just about keeping the machines running and checking the quality of the lace we’re putting out. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work for everything we need to do. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months in Khatodara. We usually have a few people working the floor at any given time. We aren’t trying to be the biggest shop in the estate, just doing our work and getting orders out to the people who need them. Finding us is simple enough if you follow the road behind the jail. The estate is a bit crowded, so parking can be a headache sometimes. We focus on the daily grind, making sure the lace is ready for delivery. It’s a local business, through and through. We know the other shop owners nearby and occasionally grab tea from the stall at the corner. Om Sai Lace is just a regular place where we put in our hours and go home. We like it this way because it keeps life simple and manageable for everyone involved.
