Jitu Mobile Shop

Jitu Mobile Shop is over in Dindoli, right near the Vastrapur Lake area at number 8. It’s actually a nice spot because when things get too crowded in the shop, you can just look out toward the water. We get a lot of people who are just out for a walk or visiting the lake and realize they need a recharge or a new pair of earphones. The shop is small, so if three people come in at once, it feels full. We have a glass counter where we keep the latest handsets and a wall covered in those hanging packs of screen guards. It’s a bit of a mess behind the counter with all the charging cables tangled together, but we manage to find what we need. We spend our time helping people set up their new SIM cards or explaining why their storage is full again. It’s funny how much people rely on these little boxes in their pockets. The floor is tiled and easy to sweep, which is good because people bring in a lot of sand from the lake path. We keep a small radio playing in the background to fill the silence when no one is in. It’s a simple life. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town; we just want to be the one that’s open when someone’s phone dies while they’re out enjoying the evening. We stay open late because that’s when the area gets the most visitors.
