Jayesh B Barvaliya

The Nanpura area in Surat is known for its markets and we are right in the middle of it. Jayesh B Barvaliya is located at the Super Yarn Market, specifically in room 301 A. It is a very busy building. From morning until late evening there are people carrying heavy bags of yarn up and down the stairs. We are on the third floor so we get a bit of exercise every day. The air in the market smells like cotton and dust. It is a loud place with people shouting prices and deals across the halls. Inside 301 A it is a bit quieter but not by much. We have our samples and our ledgers spread out on the tables. It is a traditional way of doing business and we have stuck with it. We know most of the other traders in the building. We might grab a tea together or talk about how the market is moving. There are no fancy computers or high-tech gadgets everywhere. We mostly use our phones and our notebooks. It is a hardworking environment where everyone is trying to make a living. We have been part of the Nanpura market for a while and we don't plan on going anywhere. It is just a regular job in a busy part of Surat. The floor is usually covered in bits of thread, but we sweep it up at the end of every week.
