Jalaram Telecom Shop

Jalaram Telecom Shop is located in Katargam, right near Advani Market and across from the Bharat Petroleum station. If you are coming from Delhi Gate, we are just outside at number 20. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always the sound of horns and engines in the background. Our shop is small and can get quite cramped when there are more than two people inside. We carry a bit of everything when it comes to telecom stuff, from prepaid cards to used handsets. The shelves are packed and sometimes it’s hard to find exactly what you’re looking for without asking us. We spend a lot of time helping people set up their new devices or explaining why their data isn't working. It’s not complicated work, but it takes patience. The floor gets dirty pretty quickly with all the foot traffic from the market, so we are always sweeping. We’ve been here for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change as more shops opened up. It’s a good spot because everyone knows the petrol pump across the street. We don't have any big slogans or fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to people like neighbors. It’s a bit chaotic some days, especially during the festivals, but we enjoy the energy of Katargam. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, one day at a time.
