Jalaram Mobile Shop

Our shop is right here in Mahidharpura on the New Civil Road. It’s a spot where you see a lot of people walking by all day. Some are going towards the hospital and others are just heading to the market nearby. We mostly keep stuff that people need every day, like chargers that actually last and those screen guards that don't bubble up. We started Jalaram Mobile Shop because we knew the area needed a place where you could just get a quick fix or a new SIM card without a fuss. The space inside is tight but we manage to fit all the displays. We spend a lot of time helping older folks who can't figure out their new smartphones. It takes patience but it’s part of the job. The morning starts with dusting the glass cases. Dust gets everywhere around Babupura. Sometimes the tea guy from next door comes over and we talk about the news. We don’t do anything too fancy. We just stock the brands that people ask for. If someone wants a specific cover, we try to find it in the piles we have. The lights in the shop are a bit bright but they show the products well. It gets loud when the traffic builds up in the evening. We stay open pretty late most nights. It’s just how it is running a shop in this part of town and we like the neighborhood.
