JAI Ram Mobile Gallery

Down here in Althan, you’ll find JAI Ram Mobile Gallery. It’s a local spot where we spend most of our time. We’ve got a lot of different phones and accessories crammed into the display cases. Althan is a good neighborhood, and we get a mix of people coming in. Some are looking for the latest thing, others just want to fix a phone they’ve had for five years. We try to help everyone the same way. The shop has a specific smell of electronics and maybe a bit of incense from the morning. I’ve been working here for a while, and I’ve seen a lot of changes in how phones look and work. Our counter is usually covered in papers and spare parts. It’s not the cleanest setup, but it’s practical. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know the business. We don’t use any complicated sales talk. We just show people what we’ve got and let them decide. The lighting is a little dim in the back corner, which is usually where I sit to do the delicate repair work. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We like being in Althan. It feels like home. We’re just here to do a job and help out the people who live nearby. Sometimes the neighbors bring us some snacks when they pass by, which is always nice. We’ve got an old clock on the wall that ticks a bit too loudly, but we don't notice it anymore.
