Katargam 22 is a busy area with a lot of movement. I started Jahanvi Mobile Shop here because there are always people walking around. It’s not a big showroom or anything like that. It’s just a small shop on the ground floor. I have a lot of phone covers hanging on the walls—all different colors, though most people just want the plain black ones. The light inside is quite bright because I need to see the small parts inside the phones when I open them up. Katargam 22 can be quite noisy with all the scooters going past. Sometimes the dust comes inside and I have to wipe the glass every hour. I keep some recharge vouchers and SIM cards near the register. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting. I know the guys in the shops next to me, so we sometimes stand outside and talk when business is slow. I don't have a computer, just a notebook where I write down what I sold during the day. People come in asking to fix their speakers or if I have a specific cable. If I have it, I give it to them. If I don't, I tell them where else they might find it. It’s just a way to make a living. Nothing special happens most days, just the usual routine of opening and closing. I like the area because it is familiar to me.
