J Shah & Co operates out of office 101 in the Vallabh Complex, located in Nanpura. It is a straightforward kind of place. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a lot of folders stacked on every available surface. We've been in this building for quite some time now. The hallway outside is usually busy with people going to the other offices, but once you step inside, it’s mostly just the sound of typing or someone talking on the phone. We handle a lot of the day-to-day paperwork that small businesses and individuals need help with. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s necessary. My grandfather actually started the firm, and we have kept it going in much the same way. We don't use much in the way of high-tech gadgets, just the basics to get the job done. Nanpura is an old part of the city and the Vallabh Complex is a familiar landmark for many locals. We see the same faces year after year, especially when certain seasons come around and the workload gets heavier. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always going. We don't have any big slogans or fancy promises. We just sit at our desks, go through the numbers, and try to keep everything organized for the people who rely on us. It is quiet work but it keeps us focused on what matters.
