Izzy Radium & Mobile Phones

Izzy Radium & Mobile Phones has been a part of Surat for a good many years now. We started as a small spot and honestly, we haven’t changed all that much. Our shop is where people come when they need those radium stickers for their phones or if they are looking for a new mobile device. It is just a simple place with a glass counter and some stools for customers to sit on while they wait. We don't have any of those fancy lights or big displays you see in the malls. It’s just us working here, day in and day out. Putting on radium is a slow process if you want it to look decent without any air bubbles trapped underneath. We take our time with it because we know people care about how their phones look. Sometimes we get a bit behind when a few people show up at once, but we just keep going. The street outside in Surat is always noisy, but we are used to it. We aren't some big company with a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to do a fair job and earn a living. People from the neighborhood stop by to chat even if they don't need anything fixed. It’s nice having that kind of connection with the locals. We’ve seen a lot of phones come and go, from the old button ones to the new touchscreens. We just keep learning as we go along. It's a small life, but it suits us well enough.
