Himalaya Granites Limited

We’ve been here at Riaz Garden on Kodambakkam High Road for quite a while now. If you’re looking for us, we’re at New No. 29, which used to be Old No. 12, right in the middle of Nungambakkam. It gets pretty busy around here with all the traffic. Our space is 3-B, and mostly you’ll find us surrounded by slabs of granite and stone. It’s heavy work, and the yard usually has some dust on everything, but that is just how it goes when you deal with this kind of material. We spend most of our days moving pieces around and making sure things are where they need to be. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, making it a bit hot, but the tea stall nearby helps us get through the day. Sometimes the address gets people confused because of the old and new numbers, but once you see the stone, you know you’re in the right place. We don’t have fancy displays or a shiny office. It’s just a practical spot where we get the job done. Most of the guys have been working here for years, so we all know the routine pretty well by now. We just handle the granite, talk to the people who drop by, and try to keep things moving. It isn't a glamorous life, but it's ours, and we like being part of this neighborhood.
