Helpliine Surat

We have been set up at Sai Asish Society for quite a few years now. Our place is at number 10, which is right across from Chandni Chowk. If you are familiar with the Piplod area in Surat, we are very close to the Reliance Township. It is a pretty busy part of town, but our office is tucked away just enough to be quiet. We started Helpliine Surat because we saw that people around here needed a local point of contact for their issues. It is just a handful of us working here every day. We spend most of our time on the phones or dealing with people who walk in off the street. The office is not very fancy. We have some old desks and a few chairs for visitors, but that is about it. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially in the evenings, but we have gotten used to it. We do not really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people find us because they live in the neighborhood or someone told them about us. We try to keep things very simple and straightforward. If you have a problem, you just come in and we see if we can help. It is a decent place to work and we know many of the people living in the society. We are just a local business trying to do our part in the community without making a big fuss about it.
