Our office is tucked away at 735 Kohinoor Market, right on the Ringroad in Surat. If you know Surat, you know how crazy the Ringroad can get. It’s always loud with horns and people rushing about. Kohinoor Market is a hive of activity, and we’re right in the middle of it. We mostly deal with clothing and getting things ready for customers who order through the site. The room is filled with racks of clothes and big packing tables. We spend a lot of time folding, tagging, and putting things into courier bags. There’s always a stack of empty boxes in the corner waiting to be used. It’s not a glamorous setup. There are tapes and scissors everywhere, and someone is usually complaining about the heat or the elevator being slow. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon rush. Since we are in the market, there’s always someone popping in or out, and the tea stall guy knows our order by heart. We try to stay organized, but when a lot of orders come in at once, the floor gets covered in bubble wrap and paper. It’s a bit chaotic but it’s our kind of chaos. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we like being where the action is. Dealing with fabrics and fashion in a place like this keeps us on our toes every single day.
