Harshree Fashions

Our place is at 11/526 Vadachauta, right across from the Jain Temple. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so we just tell people to look for the temple gates and they find us. Harshree Fashions stays pretty busy because of the location. You can hear the temple bells throughout the day, which is actually quite nice. The shop isn’t huge, but we pack a lot into the space. We’re always moving boxes around or rearranging the hangers to make more room. It gets crowded when a few people come in at once, but we manage. Sometimes we sit on the stools out front when it’s slow, watching the street life go by. The building is older, with those thick walls that stay a bit cooler in the summer heat. We don’t do much advertising; the sign out front is mostly enough for the locals. We’ve got piles of different fabrics and ready-made stuff tucked into every corner. It feels lived-in. We know the other shopkeepers on the block, and we all help each other out if someone needs change or a favor. It’s a typical day-to-day routine here. We open up early, sweep the front, and start the day. There’s always something to fix or a shelf that needs straightening. It’s just how things are at Vadachauta. We like being part of the neighborhood and seeing the familiar faces come through the door. It’s a steady way to spend the day and we don't ask for much more than that.
