Our office is located in the Nayandeep Flats, right over by Sarjan Garden in Parle Point. It's a quiet enough area for Surat, mostly residential around here. We started doing tours and travel work because we liked planning trips and it turned into a job. We sit in A 3 and handle the bookings and paperwork for people looking to go somewhere. It isn't a huge glass building or anything like that. Just a normal flat where we've set up our desks and computers. Some days are really slow and we just sit and drink tea, while other days the phone won't stop ringing. People come in to ask about train tickets or maybe a flight to Mumbai or further away. We try to keep track of all the schedules, which can be a headache when things change last minute. We’ve known some of our customers for years, they just drop by when they are thinking of a holiday. Parle Point is a good spot to be. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to get things done. It’s mostly about getting the details right so nobody gets stuck at an airport or station. We don’t do big fancy brochures, just honest talk about where you want to go. It works for us and the people who live nearby in the flats. We just take it day by day.
