Gurukurpa Mobile Shop

Gurukurpa Mobile Shop is situated right in Kadodara at Kanak Kala 1. It’s a decent sized place for what we need, though it can feel a bit small when more than three people come in at once. We spend the bulk of our day behind the glass counter, surrounded by chargers, cables, and phone boxes. Kadodara is a busy place, and Kanak Kala 1 gets its fair share of noise and dust from the street. We don’t mind it much. We’ve grown used to the sound of the traffic and the people passing by our door. Inside, we keep things simple. There are no bright flashing lights or big sales posters. We just have our tools and the parts we need to keep things running. A lot of our day is spent talking to people about why their batteries won't hold a charge or trying to fix a button that got stuck. We drink tea from the stall nearby and chat with the other shop owners when things are slow. It’s a regular life and we don’t try to make it seem like anything more than it is. We open up early to catch people on their way to work and stay late enough for the evening crowd. Gurukurpa Mobile Shop is just a part of the local scene here. We do the work that comes in and go home when the day is done.
