Gurudev Traders

Gurudev Traders is tucked away in Maniara Sheri, over in the Mahidharpura area. Our address is 6-1551, which can be a bit hard to find if you aren't familiar with the narrow lanes around Raopura Wadi-Wadi. This part of town has so much history, and the streets are always full of people and small vehicles. We operate out of a small space where we keep our goods. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors by name and everyone watches out for each other. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people come to us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them about us. Trading here is mostly about talking to people and making sure the supplies are right. Sometimes the deliveries are slow because the big trucks can't get into these small streets, so we have to use smaller carts. It's a lot of back and forth. We keep the inventory on the shelves and try to stay on top of what's running low. The building is old, and it has that specific smell of an old trading house. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We sit, we drink tea, and we talk about the market. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things the right way without making a big deal out of it. We’re usually here from morning until the evening rush starts.
