Gurudev Dutt Bima Seva Kendra

Our office is on the first floor of the Shrusti Complex in Kamrej. We have rooms 105 and 106. It’s a fairly busy building with a lot of different things going on. We handle a lot of paperwork here for the Gurudev Dutt Bima Seva Kendra. Most of our day is spent dealing with forms and talking to people about their needs. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s important to the folks who come in. The stairs up to the first floor are usually busy in the mornings. We’ve been in this complex for a while now, so we know most of the other shop owners around us. It’s a community feel. We have a few desks set up and some filing cabinets that are getting pretty full. There isn't a lot of extra space, but it’s enough for what we do. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the papers pile up when it gets busy. People usually come in with a lot of questions. We do our best to sit down and go through everything with them one by one. It takes time, but that's just how the work goes. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a local spot where people can get their stuff sorted out. The lighting in the hallway isn’t great, but once you get inside our rooms, it’s bright enough. We just focus on the daily tasks and helping whoever walks through that door.
