We’re located in the Siddheshwar Complex, specifically unit C-3/203. Being in Adajan means we are right in the thick of things here in Surat. The English Medium Vidya Kunj School is just down the lane from us, so we hear the school bell and the noise from the kids during their break times. It really adds a bit of life to our work day. The complex itself is one of those spots where everyone knows each other. We see the folks from the Nutan Row Houses across the way almost every morning when we pull up to start the day. Dealing with Gujarat Hira Bourse, Gem & Jewellery Sez stuff means we have to stay focused, but we don't act like it's some top-secret vault. It is just our workplace at the end of the day. The stairs leading up to the second floor can be a bit much when it is humid outside, which is most of the time. We spend most of our hours looking at spreadsheets and talking to the different people who come in from the trade. Surat is a big hub for this kind of thing, so we’re just one small part of that whole busy world. It gets quite dusty sometimes because of the construction work nearby, and the traffic on the main road never seems to let up. Inside the office, it’s just us doing the usual sorting work.
