Up on the 7th floor of the Millennium Textile Market 2, you will find Gouripati Creation Llp. We are in shops 739 and 740. The market is located on the BRTS Canal Road in the Anjana area of Surat. It’s a long way up, but the view of the city is alright from the windows. Being in such a large textile market means there is always something happening. Elevators are usually packed with people and rolls of fabric. We spend most of our time in our two shops, managing the creations we work on. It is a lot of hard work and not much rest during the day. We don’t have a fancy corporate office. It is more of a warehouse and sales floor mixed into one. The heat can get pretty intense up on the higher floors, but we have our fans going. We focus on the textile business because that is what this whole area is built on. Anjana is a busy part of Surat, and the canal road stays crowded with traffic. We don't write big reports or have long meetings. We just talk about what needs to be finished today. It’s a very practical way of doing things. We’ve met a lot of good people in this market over the years. It’s a tough business sometimes, but we are used to it. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the work at hand. That is the only way to survive in a market like this.
