Ghanshyam Flour Mill

We are located at 9, Singanpor Rd, right in the middle of Ishwar Nagar Society. If you walk past Vishal Nagar, you will probably hear the sound of the stones grinding before you see us. Ghanshyam Flour Mill has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. The shop isn't very big, and the front steps are a bit worn down from people carrying heavy sacks of wheat in and out every day. There is always a layer of fine white dust over everything, the chairs, the counter, even the fan on the ceiling. It is just part of the job. We open early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Most people around here know where we are. We don't have a big neon sign or anything like that. Just the name on the wall and the smell of fresh flour in the air. Sometimes it gets crowded inside when everyone wants their grinding done at the same time before dinner. We just take the bags as they come. It is hard work on the back and the shoulders, especially in the summer when the heat from the motors makes the shop feel like an oven. We keep the water jug full and just keep going. It is a local place for local people who want their grain turned into flour without any fuss. We stay open until the last bag is finished.
