You can find Gangadhar Mobile Point on Gobind Street, just off Varachha Road. We’re in shop G 3. It’s a tight spot, but it works for what we do. Mostly, we deal with mobile repairs and selling some used handsets. People bring in their old phones to see if they’re worth anything. I spend most of my day looking at circuit boards. It’s quiet work until the street gets loud outside. We’ve got a display window that gets a bit dusty because of the road work nearby. We clean it when we can. Folks stop by for chargers or maybe a new pair of earphones. We don't carry the expensive brands, just stuff that works for a decent price. I started this place because I didn't want to work in the mills. It's better being my own boss, even if the hours are long. We get a lot of people from the neighborhood. They know me by name. If a screen is cracked, I tell them how much the part costs and how long it’ll take. Usually, it's a day or two. We don't do fancy marketing. Just the sign above the door and people talking. It’s a simple life at the mobile point. We just keep moving one phone at a time. The tea stall next door keeps us going when the afternoon gets slow and the heat starts to pick up.
