Ganesh Mobile Shop

This shop in Bharthana Bardolpura is where we spend most of our waking hours. It is a simple setup with a couple of glass counters and shelves full of those colorful phone covers that everyone seems to want these days. Most of the morning is spent cleaning the glass because people are always leaning on it or pointing at things. We do a lot of recharges for folks who still use the prepaid cards or need a quick top-up for their data. It gets noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on whatever phone is on the repair mat. Sometimes it is a simple battery change, other times it is a phone that took a swim in a puddle. We have a small stool in the back where we keep the soldering iron and the magnifying glass. It is a bit cluttered, but we know exactly where every screwdriver is hidden. People from around the Bardolpura area come in and out all day, sometimes just for a quick chat about the cricket score. We don't have any fancy signs or a big staff, just a few of us making sure people can stay connected. The lights are a bit dim in the back corner, but it works for us. It is just a local business trying to keep up with how fast technology changes, even if we prefer the old ways of doing things by hand.
