Fashion Plaza

Our place, Fashion Plaza, is located at No. 791 in the New Textile Market on Ring Road. It is a massive area and it can be pretty overwhelming if you aren't used to it. Every day is basically the same routine of getting in early before the traffic on Ring Road gets too backed up. The market is full of shops just like ours, all packed together. We have a small space where we keep all our fabrics and ready items. It is usually quite a mess of rolls and plastic bags, especially on Mondays when everything arrives at once. We don't really have a fancy display. Most people who come here already know what they are looking for. It is loud, dusty, and there is always someone shouting about a delivery or a truck blocking the way. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The tea man comes around twice a day, which is probably the highlight of the afternoon. We have been at No. 791 for a long time, so we know all the neighbors. Sometimes we help each other out with change or carrying heavy loads. It is a tough environment but it is what we know. There isn't much more to it than that. Just a shop in a very big market trying to keep up with the daily rush and the constant noise.
