Estudio Architects

Our little office is at 202 Nanpura New Road. It is in the Timaliyawad area of Nanpura, which has a very specific feel to it compared to the rest of Surat. We have been here for a bit, and the office has kind of grown around us. There are books everywhere and rolls of tracing paper in the corners. It is not a huge space, but it is where all the thinking happens. We mostly focus on the architectural side of things. A lot of our day involves sitting at the big tables and trying to get the lines straight on a new plan. Nanpura can be a bit congested, but we like being in this part of town. It feels established. We don't really have a marketing team or anything like that. People usually find us because they saw a house we worked on or someone told them about us. We go out to sites a lot, so sometimes the office is empty for a few hours in the afternoon. We come back with dusty shoes and a lot of notes written on scraps of paper. It is a very hands-on kind of job. We just try to be honest about what can be built and how much it will cost. It isn't always easy, but it keeps us busy and the work feels real.
