Doordarshan Tours & Travels

We are set up over on Rander Road, specifically on Govindappa Road at F5. It’s a pretty busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our window. Doordarshan Tours & Travels has been around for a bit, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. My father used to handle things, but now it’s more on me. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we show up on time and know the routes. Rander Road is always humming with people, which is great for business but bad for parking. If you come by to see us, you might have to walk a block or two. We spend our days answering the phone and making sure the drivers have enough fuel for their trips. It isn’t always easy. Sometimes the engines act up or the rain makes the roads a mess. We just do our best to stay on schedule. We don’t use fancy language because we aren't fancy people. We’re just locals trying to make sure anyone who travels with us gets to their destination without a headache. It’s a practical business for practical people. That’s how we like to keep it here at our office. We have a small calendar on the wall where we mark everything down in blue ink. It works for us.
