Dinesh Gift Articles & Mobile sits at B/100 on the Old Madras Road in Pandesara. It’s an interesting mix of things we have here. Half the shop is full of gift items like photo frames, toys, and small statues, and the other half is all about mobile phones and accessories. It makes for a bit of a crowded shop floor, but it works for us. People come in looking for a birthday present and end up getting a new phone charger too. The Old Madras Road is always busy with people going to work or heading home, so we see a lot of different people. We have boxes of gift wrap tucked under the counters and rows of phone cases hanging above the registers. The shelves are packed pretty tight so you have to be careful not to knock anything over when you are walking around. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us trying to keep an eye on everything. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking back and forth over the years. We spend time cleaning the glass on the gift displays because they get dusty really fast. It is a simple place where we just try to keep enough variety so there is something for everyone who walks in. We don't have any fancy displays, just the stuff we've put up ourselves over the years.
