You can find us down on the lower ground floor of Millennium Market. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes, especially if you’re not used to the Ring Road area in Surat. Our shop is F/1311. If you come in through Kamela Darwaja, it’s not too hard to track us down once you get your bearings. It’s always crowded in this market. There’s people everywhere carrying bundles of fabric and shouting for space. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. The space is small, but we make it work for what we need. It gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we usually have the tea guy come by quite often. We don’t really do anything flashy. It’s just us sitting among the stacks, trying to keep track of everything going out. Surat is a busy city for this kind of work, and Millennium Market is right in the middle of all that chaos. We like it though. There’s a rhythm to the day, starting early before the heat really kicks in. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. Just some sturdy shelves and a desk. Some days are slower than others, but there’s always something to move or someone to talk to. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy.
