Mega Exports Surat

Mega Exports is located at No. 8/ A Dharmyug on Ghod Dhod Road. Surat is a city that never really stops, and this road is one of the busy ones. Our building is a bit older, but it serves us well. We have our workspace set up on the ground floor mostly. It is easy for the delivery bikes to pull up and drop things off. We don't have a big flashy sign, just a small one near the entrance. Inside, the walls are painted a plain white and the floors are grey stone. We have rows of shelves where we keep the samples and the stock. Most of our day is spent sorting through items and making sure the labels are stuck on correctly. It is repetitive work but someone has to do it. The staff here are mostly local people from around the neighborhood. We all know each other’s names and whose kid is doing what at school. We drink a lot of water because it gets hot in Surat, especially in the afternoons. The windows stay open but there isn't much of a breeze. We aren't some massive corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a small team trying to get the exports ready on time. If things are running late, we stay an extra hour to finish up. That is just the way it goes at 8/ A Dharmyug. We just keep our heads down.
