Pareek Garments

The shop is located at number 14 in Rupsagar Society. Being near Gyanjyot School means we see a lot of students and parents walking past every single afternoon. Godadara stays pretty busy, especially on Devadh Road. Inside Pareek Garments, things are a bit cramped because we try to fit as many shirts and pants as possible on the hangers. Sometimes it's hard to find exactly what someone is looking for right away, so we have to dig through the back shelves. It’s mostly just us running things day to day. We start early, usually right after breakfast. The floor needs sweeping every few hours because of the dirt from the road. We don't have a big team or fancy displays. There’s a small desk where we keep the accounts and a chair that's seen better days. When it rains, the water sometimes pools near the entrance, and we have to put out a mat so people don't slip. It’s just a regular neighborhood shop. We know the tea seller nearby and he brings us a cup every afternoon. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we’re here by the school. Most of our time is spent talking to neighbors or checking the latest arrivals from the wholesalers. It's a steady routine. We like being part of this little corner of the society and seeing the same faces every day. It is a humble place, but it keeps us busy enough.
