Deepee Corporation

Umarwada is a busy place, always something moving. We are in the B-3168/69 block. It’s on the road toward Kharadi, near Takara Chandan Nagar. The traffic out front is constant. Trucks, rickshaws, everything. We spend a lot of time just moving boxes around. The warehouse gets quite stuffy in the summer months, so we usually have a couple of old fans going. To be honest, it’s a bit of a maze in here because we have so much stuff piled up. We deal with various items, mostly things people need for their shops or small factories. I spend most of my day on the phone or checking the handwritten inventory lists. It’s not very exciting, but it’s how we make a living. We have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. Sometimes the paperwork gets messy and we have to spend the whole evening sorting it out before we can go home. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a regular business doing its thing. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks and talk about the weather. You see the same faces every day. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything coming in and going out. But we’ve been here long enough that we know the routine by heart. If a customer is happy, that's good, if not, we try to fix it without too much fuss.
