D M Bike

If you find yourself over by Pandesara Bhuyangdev Cross Road, you’ve probably seen D M Bike. We’re right there where the traffic always seems to get stuck. I started this place because I liked working on engines and there were always people with old bikes that needed a bit of help. We handle a lot of different things here, from fixing a flat tire in the heat of the day to trying to figure out why a scooter won’t start when it rains. The shop floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and grease, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working on machines all day. We have tools scattered around on the benches, and there’s always a few bikes parked out front waiting for parts to arrive. It can get pretty hectic when three people show up at once wanting an oil change, but we just take them one by one. I don't spend much time on the computer or anything like that; I’d rather be holding a wrench. Sometimes we sell a used bike if someone leaves one with us to find a new owner. It’s a loud spot with the horns honking outside and the sound of the air compressor running, but it feels right to be in the middle of it all. We stay open late most nights because that’s when people are heading home and realize they have a problem with their ride.
