City Max India Landmark Group Dubai

Our office is tucked away in the New Hare Krishana apartment on Batar Road. It’s unit B-304, so we are up a few flights. Most people use Uma Bhavan as the landmark when they are trying to find us for the first time because the building entrance can be a little easy to miss if you are driving too fast. Even though we are part of the bigger Landmark Group from Dubai, this Surat office feels a lot more grounded and local. We spend a lot of our time looking at spreadsheets and talking on the phone. The traffic on Batar Road is something else, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. You can hear the horns from our windows sometimes. The office isn't anything like those glass skyscrapers you see in pictures of Dubai. It’s a practical space with desks, some old filing cabinets, and a coffee machine that we have to poke to get it working right. We have a small group of people here who have been working together for years. We know each other's coffee orders and who is likely to be late when it rains. It’s just a regular workday for us, handling the Indian side of things. We don't really do the whole corporate polish thing here. We just try to get the work done before the sun goes down and the traffic gets even worse.
