Chetanbhai Bariya Colour Contractor

I am Chetanbhai and I run this painting business from 27/1 Dabholi. It is just me and a few guys who know how to handle a brush and a roller. We do houses, mostly. Sometimes we get a bigger job like a whole building or a small factory wall. People in Dabholi know where to find us. We have been painting for a long time now. We show up, move the furniture out of the way, and start scraping the old paint off. It is dirty work at first. The dust gets everywhere if you are not careful. We try to keep things as clean as we can though. We use whatever paint the customer wants, or we can suggest something if they aren't sure. I spend a lot of time on ladders. My back hurts some days but that is how it goes. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. We just have our tools and our ladders and our white clothes that always end up with spots on them. When we finish a room and it looks fresh, it feels good. We don't do much talking while we work, we just listen to the radio and get the coats on. If the weather is rainy, we have to wait, which is frustrating for everyone. But when the sun is out, we are busy from morning till night. That is how we live and keep things going for our families here.
