Bhumi Tourism

Our office is up on the 7th floor, room 710, in the Empire State Building on Ring Road. We are quite close to the World Trade Center here in Surat. It’s a big building with lots of offices, so it’s a bit different from the street-level shops. We spend our days planning trips and sorting out travel details for people. Because we are higher up, it’s a little quieter than being right on the road, but you can still hear the city below. We handle all sorts of travel stuff, from bus tickets to bigger tour plans. It’s just a small group of us here working. The office has a lot of maps and brochures lying around. We don’t really go for a polished corporate look. It’s more of a functional space where we can talk to people about where they want to go. Ring Road is the heart of the business district, so there is always a lot of movement. Sometimes the elevator takes a while, but once you’re up here, it’s a nice enough place to sit and talk. We’ve been doing this for a while and we know the common routes and destinations people like. We don't use any fancy sales pitches. We just tell people what’s available and what the costs are. It’s just a regular local tourism office trying to stay organized and get people on their way without much trouble.
